We see ourselves as vital contributors, playing a role in communities, the environment, and sustainability while carrying out our mission.--We are searching for our new full-time Veterinary technician to support our Critical Care departments!--About the job:Fulltime positions open in swing and overnight shifts4/10 scheduleTriaging incoming patientsAssist--DVM with patient assessment, treatment and proceduresPartner with the patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication and nursing care concernsProvide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patientsProvide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patientsInduce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation proceduresRecord and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather additional information as necessaryPerform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testingCompensation Range:--RVT: $25.00 - $40.00 hour--SVA: $25.00 - $36.00$8,000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 Hiring Bonus for Veterinary Assistants (for full-time, new to SAGE hires) for overnight roles.$7000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $5000 Hiring bonus for veterinary assistants for swing shift roles.$6000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $4000 Hiring bonus for day shift roles.Shift differentials available! $3/hour swing shift, $5 overnight shiftThe ideal candidate:You are a--Registered Veterinary Technician--or--Senior Veterinary Assistant--with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
